Designed to work with the CM7058 Temperature & Humidity Station and the CM7015 Wireless Rain Gauge, the brand new CM7 Sensor will measure and deliver weather data to your internal display console rain or shine. Position your CM7 sensors indoors or out to monitor the locations that matter to you.
The sensor tracks the temperature and humidity of its location, shown on an LCD screen for easy reference at a glance. With a transmission range of 100 metres and a variety of mounting options, the CM7 Sensor provides a flexible way of monitoring weather conditions around the home and garden.
Up to eight CM7 Sensors can be used alongside the CM7058 and CM7015 Stations, utilising a numbered channel setting so that specific locations can be pinpointed with ease. The CM7-TX temperature transmitter is compatible with the ClimeMET CM7048 Wireless Temperature Station but can also work as a digital thermometer on its own. When used with the 7048, it allows you to measure the temperature in additional locations.
The CM7048 can display temperature data from 3 sensors in total, and comes with one included, allowing you the option to add 2 additional sensors. Ideal if you're looking to measure temperature in the garden and the greenhouse.
The 7-TX can also be used as a replacement for a damaged CM7048 sensor, or can be used as a standalone unit to show temperature for a given location.
To set up your new CM7-TX sensor, follow the pairing instructions below:
* Take batteries out of both the console and your sensor and leave them both powered down for about 30 minutes
* The batteries need to put back in both parts in quite quick succession (within about 15 seconds) so we often suggest putting one battery into each unit and then you'll just need to add the remaining ones when you power them back up.
* Put the batteries back into your outdoor sensor first and then into your indoor console.
* Leave both parts next to each other for around 15 minutes to give the indoor console time to pick up the reading from the outdoor sensor. You can then move your outdoor sensor into position.
